Bundle of Joy

My first post! I can’t believe it. I’m finally writing about autism! If you are new to my blog, welcome!

8 Reasons

I am looking forward to sharing some of my experience as a mom of a beautiful autistic young adult.

From the moment Isa was placed in my hands, I knew that I would love that bundle of joy for the rest of my life.

I guess that is what motherhood is all about… unconditional love. Isa was a beautiful baby with lots of hair and a big smile.

He always slept through the night and rarely cried as a baby. He was perfect! Yes, you’ve been there before. You know you’re baby is perfect but as he starts to grow and develop, you start wondering if there’s anything wrong.

I’m here to tell you that no matter what the diagnosis is, your baby will always be perfect. The challenges he or she may face are huge, but with love and support your child will find true happiness.

Mother of a Beautiful Autistic Child

I am a parent of a beautiful autistic 22 years old. I studied Psychology and worked with autistic children over 25 years ago.

I eventually moved into education and have been a teacher for over 18 years. My desire to advocate for Autism comes from my own experiences as an autism mom.

My life’s mission is to educate on autism acceptance and help parents find the tools they need to help in their autism journey. I hope this blog helps you connect with the right resources to help you grow as a parent or caretaker..
